Our founder

Built by someone who saw tutoring fail from both sides

Tutivate was started by a founder who had seen both sides of tutoring: the student being handed a mismatched tutor, and the tutor being handed a student they were never right for.

The pattern was consistent. Agencies matched on availability, families had no way to judge fit until they had paid for several lessons, and good tutors were wasted on the wrong students.

Tutivate was built around the opposite sequence: understand the student first, shortlist against real criteria, have a person approve the match, and prove the fit with a free trial before anyone pays.

What the founder believes

  • Matching is a judgement, not a lookup.
  • Families deserve to see the fit before they pay for it.
  • Preparation should be specific to the exam, the board and the school.
  • No honest service can promise a grade.

Tell us about the student. We will find the right tutor.

A free consultation, a reviewed match and a free compatibility trial before anything is paid for.
